Oscar Isaacs Is In Talks To Star In Disney Plus’ Moon Knight Series

It’s just been revealed that Oscar Isaac is in talks to star in the upcoming Disney Plus Moon Knight series and it would be for the lead role.

This news comes to us from The Wrap who reports that he’s in talks to play Marc Spector, a.k.a. Moon Knight in the series.

This show has been talked about for years and we hadn’t heard any official news regarding any casting for it up until this point.

However, it had been rumoured that Kevin Feige was very keen on getting the ball rolling on this new show.

Oscar Isaac already has experience working with Disney (who owns Marvel Studios) after having starred as Poe Dameron in the recent Star Wars trilogy.

As far as I’m concerned, Isaac would make an excellent choice for the role.

However, he’s a very busy man these days and in high demand.

He’s going to be starring in Denis Villeneuve’s movie, Dune.

Yet, his character might not feature much in the second Dune movie that’s set to be released further down the line.

He also recently wrapped shooting on Paul Schrader’s The Card Counter and is attached to star in and produce the Lionsgate film London with Ben Stiller directing.

Isaac will also star in and produce the adaptation of Brian K. Vaughn’s Ex Machina comic re-titled The Great Machine.

And, as if that’s not enough stuff to be getting on which, he will also play a young Ford Francis Coppola in Francis And The Godfather, which is about the making of The Godfather.

Barry Levinson set to direct that movie.
