Netflix Officially Announces Sonic Prime Animated Series

OK, so I remember a few weeks ago that Netflix actually announced that a Sonic animated series was coming to the streaming service. They then took the tweet down announcing the new series. Well, the series is back as Netflix officially announced that they are working on a new animated Sonic series called Sonic Prime.

It seems as though there’s new life in the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. The Paramount Pictures movie performed very well when it came out in early 2020. It was literally one of the last movies to come out in cinemas that did really well. I think the only movie I can remember seeing in cinemas after Sonic was The Invisible Man, and then Tenet.

Seriously, 2020 was a bad year for basically everything. Hopefully, 2021 will be better. Well, it looks like we might have something to look forward to in 2022, and that’s the new animated TV show, Sonic Prime. Check out the announcement Netflix made via the tweet below.
