Moon Knight Director Teases A Future MCU Movie

Moon Knight’s director, Mohamed Diab, has revealed that he’s hopeful of making a Moon Knight movie with Oscar Isaac back in the lead role.

Diap said this during a recent interview with SFX Magazine (via GeekTyrant).

Here’s what Diap had to say about a Moon Knight movie being made in the future:

I dream and wish for a film. But with Marvel, the way they play it, it’s not like you graduate into a film. You can go into a film and come to a TV show and go back.”

Diap also revealed in the same interview with WandaVision Season 2 wasn’t happening over at Marvel Studios.

It’s like a crazy world. Even with the successful shows, like WandaVision, they’re not doing season two. She jumped into a film, maybe she’s going to come back or not. I don’t know. And that’s exciting.

Could Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight be a major player in the MCU?

After having watched the first episode of the Disney Plus Moon Knight series, I really think this character could be huge for the MCU moving forward.

The show has a very unique tone and feels different from the rest of the MCU series.

I also love the fact that they cast such high profile actors in the lead roles.

Oscar Isaac is perfect casting as Moon Knight and I think that Ethan Hawke is going to blow us away in the show.

I would love to see a Moon Knight movie in the future.

Whether or not it ends up happening is another story.

We’ll just have to wait and see.
