Matthew Vaughn Is Planning Seven More Kingsman Movies And A TV Show

It’s being reported that Matthew Vaughn is currently planning seven more Kingsman movies and a TV show, which sounds like a lot. This news comes from Deadline.

In an interview with Deadline, Marv Group CEO Zygi Kamasa revealed that the British director Matthew Vaughn is currently planning “something like seven more Kingsman films” as part of the company’s expansion plans. He also added that Vaughn also has plans to make a TV show set in the Kingsman universe.

So, it sounds like Matthew Vaughn and Marv Group might be trying to build their own cinematic universe based around the Kingsman property. We’ve already had two movies: Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle. We’re now about to see The King’s Man in 2021.

I loved the first Kingsman movie. Kingsman: The Secret Service is a great film, and I liked bits of the second film. However, I do think that Kingsman: The Golden Circle is pretty problematic.

That said, I do think The King’s Man looks fantastic. That movie stars Ralph Fiennes and it tells the story of how The Kingsman first started, which I really like the idea of. It sounds like Vaughn has a lot more ideas for this franchise which is based on the comics by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons.
