Luke Skywalker Solo Series Reportedly In Development For Disney Plus

It’s being rumoured that Lucasfilm is working on a Luke Skywalker solo series which will come to Disney Plus, and I’m pretty sure fans will love this news.

This is being reported by Giant Freakin Robot and it has been rumoured to be in development for quite some time now.

This also comes after Luke Skywalker made a cameo appearance at the end of The Mandalorian Season 2, which was an incredible moment.

It seems as though both Disney and Lucasfilm want to capitalize on the excitement that cameo created and make a Luke Skywalker solo series.

Honestly, this would make more sense to me than an Obi-Wan Kenobi series because we still don’t really know everything Luke got up to after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Here’s what Giant Freakin Robot had to say about the Luke Skywalker solo series:

According to our trusted inside source – the same one that has provided Giant Freakin Robot with multiple confirmed exclusive scoops that have included Bruce Campbell appearing for a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Chloe Bennet returning as Quake for a new Marvel series – Luke Skywalker is going to get his own solo series over on the streaming service Disney+. The plan is to set the show during some point after Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. We could not confirm exactly when this would be in relation to what we have seen in The Mandalorian so far, or if this series would be an extension of whatever we end up seeing of Luke in The Mandalorian Season 3. All we know is that it will take place sometime between Return of the Jedi and Luke’s decision to exile himself to the planet of Ahch-To.
