Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 Is Set To Restart Shooting This October
It’s been revealed that Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is going to start reshooting this October after production on the Netflix TV show was stopped due to COVID-19.
We’ve had so much Lucifer news in the past week.
It all kicked off with the news that Lucifer Season 5 Part 1 was going to be released on Netflix on August 21st.
If that wasn’t enough, this announcement was then followed by the news that Netflix had ordered Lucifer Season 6.
That will be the very last season of Lucifer, but it means we get to watch six seasons of this great show in total – what a treat!
Anyway, it’s now been revealed via Production Weekly that Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 will get back into production this October.
Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 could start reshooting this October
According to the publication which focuses solely on movie and TV productions, Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 is scheduled to begin again in mid-October this year.
They also revealed that filming will take place in Los Angeles, which is where the show usually shoots.
This means that we could end up getting Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 towards the end of 2020, beginning of 2021.
I’m pretty sure that Lucifer’s showrunners and Netflix would have liked to have the season out before then.
However, the Coronavirus pandemic has basically set the whole entertainment industry back by almost a year.
This means a lot of shows and movies will continue to be delayed until the virus has been completely eradicated and no longer poses a threat to everyone working on these productions.
