Jeffrey Dean Morgan Says Michael Keaton Stole His Role In The Flash Movie

Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joked that Michael Keaton stole his role in the upcoming The Flash movie which will see Keaton play Batman again.

In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Thomas Wayne.

He’s pretty much perfect for the role, and there were rumours he might be involved in The Flash movie.

Why, you ask? Well, there were rumours that the movie would adapt the Flashpoint story arc from the comics.

This meant that The Flash would end up meeting a new version of Batman in an alternate Earth.

This Batman would be Thomas Wayne, not Bruce Wayne.

In this alternate Earth, Bruce was the one who was shot on that terrible night in Gotham.

However, it seems as though they opted to go for Michael Keaton instead, which means Jeffrey Dean Morgan might have lost out on a role in the movie.

He joked about this during a recent The Walking Dead Comic Con panel with ComicBook.com.

Here’s what he had to say about him missing out on a role in the more:

Michael Keaton swooped in and took my gig. Naw, I think that’s super cool. Ever since Zack Snyder walked away, my whole kind of bit in that world has walked away with him. However, there’s always a chat going on. So, we’ll see!
