It’s being rumoured that Henry Cavill is currently in talks to return for The Man From UNCLE 2, which is great news if it’s true.
The reason I say “if it’s true” is because this rumour comes from Daniel Richtman, who’s been a bit hit and miss recently with his scoops.
He also recently ‘revealed’ that the film’s producers were thinking of recasting Armie Hammer from the sequel.
Please, bear in mind that this sequel to The Man From UNCLE hasn’t even been officially revealed to being in production yet.
That said, it would be a brilliant movie to make because The Man From UNCLE was a terrific film.
It was made back in 2015 and was directed by Guy Ritchie and has garnered something of a cult following over the years.
Herny Cavill could be returning for The Man From UNCLE 2
I’ve always said that they should make a sequel, and it sounds like they are talking about it over at Warner Bros. Pictures.
The issue is that the movie starred Armie Hammer alongside Henry Cavill and Alicia Vikander.
Hammer’s kind of persona non grata at the moment and I doubt they would want to bring him back as the KGB agent, Illya.
We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
I’ll also let you know if we hear anything about The Man From UNCLE’s sequel.
What do you make of this rumour?
Would you like to see Henry Cavill return as Napoleon Solo in The Man From UNCLE 2?
