Henry Cavill is reportedly interested in a violent Superman live-action Injustice film.

This is according to Geekosity, who are reporting that Cavill is pushing Warner Bros to greenlight an Injustice: Gods Among Us type project.

It would certainly be an intriguing prospect if DC were to ever give such a project the thumbs up.

Will Cavill play Superman again?

It is evident based on this report that Cavill wants to don Superman’s iconic cape once more.

He’s proven he has the charisma to lead a flagship DC film in the past, with 2013’s Man of Steel.

However, there’s been such little noise about a future Superman film starring Cavill.

Yet, with Zack Snyder now having stepped away from DC to instead focus on his Army of the Dead franchise.

Therefore, it could well be the case that Cavill’s days as Kal-El are over.

There are several Superman films currently in the works at the moment, including a film with a script written by Ta-Nehisi Coates.

We hope that Warner Bros and DC can find the right script that would enable Cavill to return as Superman in a future project.
