A new poster for the upcoming Godzilla Vs Kong movie has a new poster – which is incredible – and we’re going to be getting a new trailer on Sunday. This has been revealed by Legendary Pictures (via Fandom on Twitter).
I think I made it pretty clear in my review of Godzilla: King Of The Monsters that I didn’t much care for that movie. I felt that it forgot everything that was good in Gareth Edwards’ first Godzilla movie in favour of a very stupid plot and even dumber action.
How could they get a movie in which Godzilla fights a bunch of monsters so wrong? Well, as far as I’m concerned, they did. However, there are many people out there who loved the movie, and that’s perfectly fine.

That said, I’m still stupidly excited to see Godzilla Vs Kong because I’m just that sort of person who gets really excited for a movie in which monsters fight one another. It’s been revealed that the movie’s first trailer is coming out on Sunday, and we also got a new poster for the film, which looks bloody brilliant.
The film is being directed by Adam Wingard (who made The Guest, You’re Next and Death Note, so two good movies then). It’ll star Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir.
Godzilla Vs Kong is being released in cinemas and on HBO Max on March 26th, 2021. I cannot wait for this one even though I’m pretty sure it will end up disappointing me.
