Dune Rumoured To Be Delayed Until Early 2021

It’s being rumoured that Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movie is going to be delayed by Warner Bros. Pictures until early 2021.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources, so make of that what you will.

However, we’re assuming that their sources are telling the truth.

They claim that Warner Bros. Pictures is now considering delaying Dune due to the Coronavirus pandemic and Tenet’s rather poor box office showing.

Dune is currently supposed to be released on December 18th, 2020, however, it sounds like it might be pushed into early 2021.

This could start a trend of other big movies such as Black Widow and Wonder Woman 1984 being pushed into 2021.

It looks like Dune might be delayed

This rumour comes after Warner Bros. Pictures released Dune’s first trailer which was genuinely epic.

It’s not surprising that Warner Bros. released the movie’s first trailer now because they are still hoping to release Dune in December.

Warner Bros. has already pushed Wonder Woman 1984 into December 2021, and yet they kept Dune’s December release date.

I could easily see one of those movies being pushed into early 2021, and Dune might be the one to end up being delayed.

What a terrible year 2020 has been for the movie industry.

Warner Bros. will be hoping that people go to see Wonder Woman 1984 and Dune in their droves.
