We finally have a release date for Castlevania Season 4 on Netflix, and we’re not going to have to wait very long for it.
Netflix revealed via Twitter that the upcoming fourth season of Castlevania will be landing on their streaming platform on May 13th.
That’s a very good date to release a show which is all about vampires and demons.
However, that’s not all they revealed.
Netflix also revealed that this upcoming season of Castlevania will be the show’s last.
This really upset me and many other fans of the show since we all wanted to see this carry on forever!
However, it’s all bad news because in an article in Deadline, it was also revealed that Netflix will be exploring this universe further in a new series.
They didn’t offer any other information on what this new series might be about.
Nor did they reveal which characters could be involved in the show.

The fourth and now final season of Castlevania will be 10 episodes long.
The series was created and written by Warren Ellis, who also served as the show’s executive producer.
However, it seems as though Ellis’ involvement in the show has come to an end after he faced sexual misconduct allegations.
Ellis has finally denied those allegations, yet he will not be involved in this show, nor any other subsequent spinoffs.
According to Deadline, Ellis has “not been part of the conversations about a potential new show which likely won’t include him as a creative auspice.”
