Aquaman Will Never Team Up With Robert Pattinson’s Batman Says Jason Mamoa

People seem to be pretty darn excited about Matt Reeves’ upcoming Batman movie, including the likes of Jason Mamoa (who’s Aquaman just in case you didn’t know).

The Aquaman star is currently doing press for his upcoming Apple TV+ programme, See, and he was asked during a recent press junket by ET Tonight to comment on Zoe Kravitz’s recent casting as Catwoman in the film.

He replied: “I’m so proud. It’s perfect casting. She’s going to kill it.” They then got onto the subject of Robert Pattinson having been cast as Batman, and he was very positive about that casting as well.

“I’m really stoked. He’s a good man, he’s a great actor. I’m excited about the whole thing,” Momoa answered.

“Will we ever get the three of you in a movie all together?,” ET asked.

“I mean, it’d be awesome, but I don’t think it’s going that way,” he replied. “Let’s just let them do their thing and I’ll do my thing.”

So, it sounds like The Batman and the other DCEU movies are going to be made completely separate, which kind of makes sense because it sounds like Reeves’ movie is going to be taking place in a different time period to the other DCEU movies.

That said, it would be been fun to see Pattinson’s Batman alongside Mamoa’s Aquaman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Wonder.

However, it seems as though they’re going to try and keep the two worlds apart for the time being.

It might turn out that Pattinson’s Batman is in the same universe as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, which would be very interesting indeed.

Meanwhile, Pattinson revealed that he’s reading a lot of Batman comics to prepare for the role.

We just want to know which ones he’s reading. It might give us a little clue about how the movie’s going to turn out.
