A Luke Skywalker Spinoff Star Wars Spinoff Show Rumoured To Be In Development
WARNING: Major SPOILERS for The Mandalorian Season 2’s finale episode are in the article. You’ve been warned!
The reason why we’re really hearing that a Luke Skywalker spinoff Star Wars TV show is in the works is because the Jedi Master appeared at the end of The Mandalorian Season 3. He turned up in the finale episode and Star Wars fans the world over really lost their minds over it.
It was an incredible cameo appearance from the Jedi Master, however, the CGI used to bring him back was a bit janky. That said, it’s being rumoured that Lucasfilm might be looking to recast the role for this rumoured Luke Skywalker TV show.

FandomWire wrote in their exclusive article that Sebastian Stan is being considered for the lead role of the rumoured Luke Skywalker spinoff show. However, we’re going to have to wait and see what happens. Here’s what FandomWire had to say about this rumour Luke Skywalker spinoff show:
FandomWire can exclusively reveal that Lucasfilm and Disney+ are in the early stages of developing a Luke Skywalker series set around the time era of The Mandalorian! Having been kept a secret in The Mandalorian’s second season finale, Mark Hamill surprised fans with a de-aged look of the character. No word on who is set to direct or produce but as we said this project is in early development.
For all these reports, it’s important to stress that “In-Development” means teams connected to Lucasfilm are prepping and writing the following projects. It does not guarantee they will all make it to air.
