Shazam! Director Would Like His Shazam Sequel Crossover With Black Adam

Shazam!’s director has spoken about the possibility of his sequel to his DC Comics movie featuring a crossover with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

The film’s director, David F. Sandberg was talking to ComicBook.com about the state of his Shazam! sequel.

It does sound as if Shazam! 2’s production will be delayed slightly due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

However, Sandberg was keen to stress that the liked the idea of having some sort of crossover with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.

Yet, he did make it clear that he’s had no talks as of yet, but they could eventually happen once this whole COVID-19 mess is finally over.

Let’s just hope they’re able to get production on both these upcoming DC Comics movies back on track soon.

“No, I haven’t talked to [the Black Adam team],” Sandberg told ComicBook.com.

“I mean, I assume DC is keeping tabs, that they have the bigger plan. But I don’t know what they’re doing. I’m just curious to see it, you know?”

It would be the perfect crossover if they do decide to go ahead with the idea.

I love Zachary Levi’s version of Shazam (or Captain Marvel), and I think he’d work really well with Johnson as Black Adam.
