Ant-Man And The Wasp Star Reportedly Offered Lead Role In Resident Evil Reboot

It’s being rumoured that Ant-Man And The Wasp star, Hannah John-Kamen has been offered the lead role of Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil movie reboot.

This rumour comes from The Illuminerdi who’ve been right about this sort of stuff in the past.

The Resident Evil reboot they’re referring to isn’t the upcoming Netflix Resident Evil series.

This is Screen Gems’ upcoming movie and it sounds like this film is going to feature some fan-favourite characters.

John-Kamen played Ghost in the Marvel movie Ant-Man And The Wasp and she was brilliant in the film.

She’d be the perfect person to play fan-favourite character Jill Valentine and is described as a small town girl that enjoys hunting with the guys.

Jill Valentine is the main character form the Resident Evil video games.

She’s a former member of Delta Force, Valentine initially works alongside her partner Chris Redfield to fight the Umbrella Corporation.

Valentine was originally scheduled to be the protagonist for the first Resident Evil movie.

However, they ended up developing a new character called Alice as the main protagonist for the movies.

Alice was famously played by Milla Jovovich.

Yet, it looks like the upcoming Screen Gems reboot will adapt the games and not the Paul W. S. Anderson movies.
