Netflix’s Tiger King Reportedly Watched By More Than 64 Million Households

Netflix’s docuseries, Tiger King, might be an even bigger hit than we thought after it’s been reported that it was watched by over 64 million households.

This comes from Deadline, who reported that the numbers are even higher than we thought they were.

It was revealed a few days ago that Tiger King had been viewed over 34.2 million times in its first ten days on the streaming platform.

However, it’s now being reported that over 64 million households have watched the new docuseries.

This is honestly, insanity. Netflix is dominating during this lockdown, and it has Tiger King and Money Heist Season 4 to thank for that.

This was all revealed via an investor letter released in which is was revealed that the Joe Exotic saga was watched by over 64 million households worldwide over its first month of release.

These are crazy numbers, but it has to be put into context.

When they say “households”, it’s very different to traditional ratings.

Netflix counts someone watching something for at least two minutes as a ‘view’, which can be very misleading.

That said, Tiger King wasn’t viewed as much as Money Heist Season 4.

It was revealed that over 65 million households worldwide tuned in to watch the latest season of the Spanish show.
