Netflix And David Fincher Announce A New Project – Not Mindhunter Season 3

Netflix and David Fincher have announced that they are working on a new documentary series called VOIR – not Mindhunter Season 3.

NetflixFilm’s Twitter account teased a David Fincher announcement, and many people were hoping that it would be Mindhunter Season 3.

Well, it was revealed today that this new Fincher and Netflix collaboration is actually a series called VOIR.

What is VOIR? Good question. It sounds like it’ll be quite a niche project for people who are really into cinema – like Fincher.

Fincher is acting as an Executive Producer on the series, and NetflixFilm described the series as follows:

So, it sounds like something that might be a fascinating watch for people who are interested in the art of cinema.

This might not be so interesting for people who want to see Mindhunter Season 3.

Are Netflix and David Fincher working on Mindhunter Season 3?

We got quite a few people asking us whether Netflix was about to announce Mindhunter Season 3.

This came after NetflixFilm teased an upcoming David Fincher-related announcement.

The fact that this tease was coming from NetflixFilm was the first indicator that it wasn’t going to be Mindhunter-related.

However, some people were suggesting that Netflix and Fincher might have opted to make a Minhunter movie, as opposed to a full-lenght season.

That could actually be a possibility given the levels of stress making a series put Fincher under.

We still haven’t received any new information regarding the state of Mindhunter Season 3.

The last we were told was that Netflix and Fincher were talking about it, but nothing more since then.
