Man Of Steel 2 Starring Henry Cavill Reportedly Coming To HBO Max

It’s being reported that a Man Of Steel 2 movie starring Henry Cavill could be coming to HBO Max which would be brilliant!

This report comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.

Fans have been desperate to see a Man Of Steel 2 ever since the first movie was released.

However, there hasn’t been much news on whether they would make the movie or not.

It was then revealed that J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot is making a Superman movie which is going to feature Calvin Ellis’ version of the Man Of Steel.

Therefore, people started wondering whether this meant that Henry Cavill’s days as Superman are over.

Well, it looks like he might get to play Superman a few more times in the DCEU.

Here’s what Mikey Sutton had to say about Man Of Steel 2:

Now, despite the future Abrams recasting of Superman, the hope is still alive for Man of Steel 2. However, whatever plans they have are currently not for a theatrical release.

Mikey then went on to state that this movie does depend on how well Zack Snyder’s Justice League does on HBO Max.

Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton also added that the film would still have a pretty big budget even though it would be made for the streaming service.

But don’t expect Man of Steel 2, if it happens, to be scaled down for HBO Max. It will have a cinematic budget. It just won’t be for theatres.
