Karl Urban Is Up For The Role Of Kraven The Hunter In The Solo Movie

It’s now being reported that Karl Urban is being looked at by Sony Pictures to play Kraven The Hunter in the solo movie. This news comes to us from Mikey Sutton over at Geekosity.

This news lands after it was revealed that Keanu Reeves opted to pass on the role after Sony Pictures offered it to him. I was really happy to hear that he decided to pass on the role because it really wasn’t for him.

I’m going to be honest here, I’m not that looking forward to this Kraven movie from Sony Pictures. However, I do love the idea of seeing Karl Urban play the character, and I really think it would be perfect casting.

Karl Urban may have the opportunity to nab his second Marvel role; he is apparently on Sony’s wish list to play Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter in an upcoming film.

Honestly, I really hope they go with Karl Urban, and I kind of hope he accepts the role. I did say that I’m not really interested in the Kraven solo movie. That said, Urban’s involvement would really get me on the Kraven boat.
