James Gunn’s Been Dropping Info About His Guardians Of The Galaxy Films All Week

James Gunn has been dropping little bits of information about his Guardians of the Galaxy movies all week. He’s been revealing these little bits of information on Twitter all week.

James Gunn is currently prepping working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is going to be his next movie. He’s been hard at work directing The Suicide Squad for DC Films, and then he’s going to start work on Peacekeeper for HBO Max. That series sounds like it’s also going to be incredible.

Most of his work over the years has been brilliant, and he’s been sharing some information about what happened whilst filming his Guardians of the Galaxy movies. You can have a look at all the stuff he’s been sharing all week.

Here’s what James Gunn shared about what it was like working with the likes of Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista:

When @prattprattpratt fires space guns he literally – and this is no joke – accidentally makes “pew pew” sounds until I point out he’s doing it. I’m not sure if this is in the moment or insane, but it’s one of my favorite things.

Bc  @DaveBautista takes the craft seriously. He’s grounded in real emotion & not showy. The difference between Dave & many wrestler-actors is when you look in his eyes on set he’s in the place he’s supposed to be, not thinking about what he’s going to do next. Cc @chancetherapper

I storyboard every single shot in every movie I do myself. They are famously mocked by everyone, and understood by few but me, but they get the job done. We turn the storyboards into animated pre-vis for some big actions scenes composed of a lot of visual effects.
