There are rumours that Henry Cavill might be up for the role of Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which would be interesting casting.
We’ve all been wondering who might end up taking up the reins of Wolverine in the MCU.
Huge Jackman played the role for years and it’s difficult to think of anyone else playing the role.
However, ever since Disney aquired Fox we’ve been thinking about who might play the iconic Marvel comics character in the MCU.
It’s a tough thing to do to recast Wolverine, and many people have mentioned Taron Egerton.
However, there might be a new name in the ring: Henry Cavill.
Henry Cavill might be up for the role of Wolverine in the MCU
This casting rumour comes from YouTubers TheQuartering, so take this with a huge pinch of salt.
They claim that Henry Cavill is now in the running to be cast as Wolverine in the MCU.
Cavill’s currently filming The Witcher Season 2 and he’s really impressed as Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix show.
It’s unsure whether he’ll ever get to return to the DCEU as Superman, so Marvel might be looking to swipe the British actor.
Honestly, I’m not totally sure Cavill is quite right for the part, yet I don’t hate the idea.
