According to Deadline, Legendary’s Godzilla vs. Kong no longer be released in November of this year.

Instead, they decided to move it to The Matrix 4’s original release date of May 21st, 2021.

The Matrix 4 has since been pushed into 2022 due to the pandemic.

Basically, the pandemic has forced Warner Bros. Pictures into making some difficult decisions regarding their release slate.

They’ve had to figure out where they can put their upcoming movies in the release slate because all these delays have led to a massive backlog.

We now have far too many movies slated for release in 2021, so a number of them will have to be moved into 2022.
