With most being stuck in self-isolation due to the Coronavirus, I thought it would be a good time to go over the ten best movies to watch on Netflix.
It’s a really rubbish time right not. Seriously. Who would have ever predicted that this Coronavirus would be so terrible?
Well, apparently a lot of people predicted it, but still, it’s a crazy situation we all find ourselves in.
Our respective governments are either telling to self-isolate or have put everyone in lockdown.
This means that we can’t go out as much as we would like and places like cinemas have been closed down indefinitely.
The Coronavirus pandemic has lead to a lot of people losing their jobs.
Watching movies on Netflix is our only real pastime now
Over 170,000 people will lose their jobs in the film industry due to this virus.
That number might end up being even higher.
One thing that’s still here to help us through this difficult time is Netflix.
Granted, they’ve been asked by the EU to lower the quality of their streaming due to the lack of bandwidth there’ll now be.
This is due to the sheer number of people who’ll be using sites like Netflix to stream content whilst being stuck inside.
So, I thought it would be a good idea to come up with a list of movies you should watch on Netflix whilst in quarantine.
However, some people pointed out to me that my previous list was just far too long.
So, what I’ve done is decide to whittle the list down to the top ten movies on Netflix.
Now, the films available on Netflix varies from country to country, so some of them might not be available where you are.
That said, the vast majority of them are available worldwide.
These are the ten best movies to watch on Netflix while in self-isolation
With any further ado, here are the ten best movies to watch on Netflix whilst in self-isolation.
- Princess Mononoke
- Ex Machina
- The Raid
- Call Me By Your Name
- Ocean’s Eleven
- Step Brothers
Would you like to watch any of these movies? Have you seen most of them already?
I tried to keep a good balance in this list of all different genres, so there really should be something in there for everybody.
There’s some sci-fi, animation, comedies, thrillers, romances, dramas… I even threw a war film in there.
So there really should be something for everyone.
What do you make of this list of Netflix movies to watch while in self-isolation?
Are there any films on there you might like to watch?
