Batwoman Fans Are Campaigning For The CW Not To Replace Kate Kane In Season 2

Fans of The CW’s show Batwoman have started a campaign in order to prevent them from replacing Kate Kane as the show’s main character in Season 2.

This was all started off when Ruby Rose announced she would be leaving the show after just one season.

Rose played the show’s lead, Kate Kane (a.k.a. Batwoman), and her departure put The CW in a bit of a tight spot.

It was then followed by wild speculation about why she left and then people started to think who might end up replacing her.

The name Stephanie Beatriz was mentioned a few times (by us too).

It was also announced by The CW that they would be looking to recast the role with someone who’s also part of the LGBTQ community.

Yet, then there were rumours that The CW was thinking of just writing Kate Kane out of the show and bringing in a new character.

That idea hasn’t been met with much approval from the fans of the show and some of them are starting a campaign to keep Kane as the show’s lead.

Batwoman Season 2 might see a new lead, not Kate Kane

A load of Batwoman fans have taken to Twitter to try and get the hashtag #SaveKateKane trending on Twitter.

It’s not trending just yet, but it’s not too far off and the more people tweet this hashtag, the more The CW might listen to them.

These are people who love the show and Kate Kane is Batwoman, therefore, bringing in a new random character would be a bit odd.

I also think Stephanie Beatriz is perfect for the role and she’s evidently up for it.

Why not just have her play Kate in Season 2?

I don’t think the fans of the show would mind.
