Stars of Batwoman Season 2 have opened up regarding Ruby Rose’s frankly shocking exit from Batwoman after being the lead for only one season.
Rose announced that she was leaving The CW show via a statement which was published in The Hollywood Reporter.
Her statement was actually rather touching and she spoke of how much respect she had for the show’s cast, crew and producers.
It did come as a pretty big shock because the show had been renewed for a second season.
The show also had a pretty strong following and the ratings were doing quite well.
The show’s finale did very well and it looked like the future was bright for Batwoman.
However, some of Batwoman Season 2’s stars have addressed Rose’s unexpected exit via Twitter.

Camrus Johnson, who plays Kate’s tech support pal Luke Fox in the show, seemed genuinely upset that Rose was leaving.
However, he also stressed that Batwoman Season 2 was going to be great and that they were working hard on making it “amazing”.
Here’s what Johnson said in full:
Family, those whose hearts are breaking break mineee. What’s important: we have a season 2. We will work our freakin butts off to give you an amazing season 2 that continues to represent the lgbtqa+ communities and people of color. We will keep going strong. Believe that.
Yet, he wasn’t the only cast member of the show to address Rose’s exit via Twitter.
Nicole Kang also expressed her sadness at Rose leaving the show.
