Money Heist Season 3’s Ending Explained – What Will Happen In Season 4?

Money Heist Season 4 is only days away from release, but it’s time to understand Season 3’s ending and what it might mean going forward.

This show is insane. It’s incredible really, and easily is one of the best Netflix shows going on right now.

It’s widely popular across Europe and the next season of the show – Season 4 – is about to land.

Money Heist Season 4 is going to be released on Netflix on April 3rd, 2020, so it’s only a few days away from landing.

So, in preparation for Season 4, it’s time to go over what happened at the end of Season 3 and try and explain that ending.

This should allow us to understand what might happen in Season 4.

The very last episode of Money Heist Season 3 was probably one of the best episodes of television I saw in 2019.

It was tense and pretty much changed everything moving forward.

First off, Tokyo and Rio’s relationship is pretty much over after Rio told her he didn’t want to be together any more.

Tokyo drinks herself into a stupor and starts insulting Rio to try and hurt him.

But this isn’t what’s really interesting about this final episode. There were two things that happened with will change the dynamics of the show.

The Professor’s always been depicted as a man in control, but this final episode saw him lose control and declare ‘all-out war on Spain’.

This happened after the Spanish police staged the murder of The Professor’s girlfriend and co-conspirator, Raquel.

The second thing to happen was Nairobi was shot by a sniper after the detective Sierra brings out her son, Axel in front of the bank.

All of this means that Season 4 is going to be very different to what came before.

Season 3’s ending means that we can’t really tell what’s going to happen next.

The Professor thinks that the love of his life, Raquel, is dead.

That’s the first thing. This means his plans will now be compromised and he’ll be acting emotionally rather than rationally, which is how he usually acts.

Then there’s Nairobi being at death’s door. Even though The Professor put Palermo in charge, everyone knows that Nairobi is the real boss.

If she were to die, then all I can see is failure for the bank robbers.

It’s going to be a really interesting season, and now let’s try and figure out what might happen.

The first thing I think is going to happen is that the tables will be turned on The Professor.

He’s never really had to face someone quite like Sierra.

The pregnant inspector is pretty much insane and doesn’t seem to care about loss of life whatsoever.

All she wants to do is beat The Professor, no matter the costs.

Now that she has Raquel in custody, she’s going to be very dangerous indeed.

Should Nairobi indeed die – which I do think is going to happen – the team inside the Royal Mint of Spain will start to fight amongst themselves.

This means that the whole plan will be at risk. That said, if there’s one person who can turn things around and try and figure out what’s really going on, it’s The Professor.
