There are now calls from Marvel movie fans for Angelina Jolie to direct the next Captain Marvel movie, which we’re calling Captain Marvel 2 for now.
It’s already been announced that Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck won’t be directing the sequel to Captain Marvel.
This means Marvel Studios has been on the hunt for a new director.
They’ve already revealed that they would like the movie to be directed by a woman.
There are a whole host of very talented female directors out there.
Many of them have been linked to the job.
One of those women has been Angelina Jolie, and some fans on Reddit think she’d be a perfect fit.

Jolie has had a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to the movie’s she’s directed.
There have been the likes of Unbroken, A Place In Time, By The Sea, In the Land of Blood and Honey.
These movies all received mixed reviews, however, in 2017, she released First They Killed My Fatheron Netflix, and it got great reviews.
The movie ended up being nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA.
However, it didn’t end up winning either,
So, Jolie’s got the directorial background, and even though her films haven’t all been winners, she’s shown he potential.
She also now has a working relationship with Marvel since she’s been cast in The Eternals.
That sort of stuff does help
