Kevin Smith Reveals He Wants To Direct One Of Supergirl’s Final Episodes

Kevin Smith has revealed that he really wants to direct one of the last episodes of Supergirl before the show ends with Season 6.

It was revealed a few days ago that Supergirl Season 6 would be the show’s last season.

That was really sad news because the show could have realistically gone on for a little while longer.

However, The CW took to the decision to end the show, and they’ll give it one last season to wrap everything up nicely.

Supergirl ending did come as a bit of a shock to many of the show’s fans.

One of them is Kevin Smith and he revealed that he would love to direct one of the show’s final episodes.

He revealed this during one of the latest episodes of his YouTube show Fatman Beyond which he presents alongside co-host Marc Bernardin

Here’s what Kevin Smith had to say about wanting to direct an episode of Supergirl Season 6:

I loved that show so much. I’ll be sad to see it go. I hope to god I get to direct one of those twenty episodes,” Smith said. “There’s a world where you get just twenty women directors, and f**k all the dudes for the last season, but if they’re letting a dude in there. Oh to go back to National City… I can make some phone calls. Working on that show was some of the best times I’ve had in my life, professionally and personally. I’m so glad that show exists. I loved it, before I directed on it, just thought, ‘God, her relationship with her sister is so beautiful.’

Hopefully, he and the people at The CW can work things out to get him on board to direct one of Supergirl’s final episodes.

Let’s wait and see what happens.
