Is Sweet Tooth Getting Two More Seasons At Netflix?

Sweet-Tooth-Season-2-Netflix

If you were one of the many people who watched Sweet Tooth, we have reason to believe that show will return for more episodes.

According to insider Daniel Richtman’s Patreon, the Netflix fantasy series that debuted on the streaming service back in June, is in line to be renewed for two further seasons.

The series stars Christian Convery as a half-human, half-deer boy who must survive in a post-apocalyptic world that is filled with other hybrids like him.

The series was met with extremely favourable reviews by fans and critics alike.

With such positive reception, speculation has been plentiful as to whether a second season would be confirmed.

According to data released by Netflix, the series was viewed by 60 million households within the first four weeks of it being made available to view.

With these numbers, it puts the show in the top 10 of most-watched English-language original series, just below the hugely popular The Queen’s Gambit.

The studio making these viewing figures public is a strong indication that the studio believes in the project, and surely means it is only a matter of time before Sweet Tooth season 2 is officially-a-go at Netflix.

Though it is as of yet unclear if the first season’s showrunner Jim Macklewill return for future seasons.

Sweet Tooth hooked me really well. I had avoided it because it looked “cute” but it is anything but cute. Uncomfortably realistic.
