It’s been revealed by Idris Elba himself that he will be voicing Knuckles in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and we like this casting.
Elba revealed this on his Instagram account and his voice is an interesting choice for the role.
He posted a picture of Knuckles’ iconic-looking knuckles and accompanied the image with the following caption:
Knock, knock…
Idris Elba is going to be voicing Knuckles in Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Knuckles is a pretty interesting character in the Sonic The Hedgehog video games.
He is sometimes an ally and often a villain.
It’ll be interesting to see which side he ends up on in this upcoming sequel.
The movie will also feature Tails.
That was revealed at the very end of the first film.
I would love to see Jim Carrey return as Doctor Robotnik and also have the classic look he had at the end of the movie.
Sonic 2 will be directed by Jeff Fowler who also directed the first film.
