We’ve now had our first look at the upcoming Aquaman animated series which is coming to HBO Max, and the show is called Aquaman: King Of Atlantis. This first look was revealed via What’s On HBO Max’s Twitter account.
This was an animated DC Comics series that I wasn’t all that knowledgeable about. However, this first look at Aquaman: King Of Atlantis really got me intrigued. I love the art style they’ve gone with, and it reminds me a lot of Adventure Time, which is a show I adore.

They announced the series back on January 15th, 2020, and it was revealed at the WarnerMedia Television Critics Association day. This will be a new animated miniseries of the DC superhero, Aquaman, and it’s being executive-produced by Aquaman director, James Wan, under his Atomic Monster production company.
Apparently, Warner Bros. had ordered the three-part animated series, which will take place after the events of the highly successful Aquaman movie. Warner Bros. Animation was also attached as animation services. The news came as the Aquaman sequel prepared to go into the pre-production phase.
