It’s been revealed that Doctor Strange 2’s (also known as Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness) production has been paused in the UK due to the new lockdown rules. This news hasn’t been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios yet, but Elizabeth Olsen did confirm the news during her recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Here’s what Elisabeth Olsen had to say about the production on Doctor Strange 2 being put on hold in the UK:
Since the hospitals are overwhelmed here, we can’t go back to work until that calms down. So just safely hanging out here, and really grateful I get to be working. Disney has kept me busy during quarantine.
She was talking to Jimmy Kimmel about the upcoming Doctor Strange 2, which she’s been confirmed to be a part of. She’ll be reprising her role of Scarlet Witch in the movie.

We’re going to see her in the upcoming WandaVision, and it’s rumoured that Doctor Strange will also be turning up towards the end of the upcoming Marvel Studios series on Disney Plus. Those rumours haven’t been officially confirmed yet by Marvel Studios, but I’m pretty sure that might end up being true. There have also been some rumours that Wanda Maximoff will end up being an antagonist in Doctor Strange 2.
