Marvel Hired John Wick Creator To Write Falcon & Winter Soldier TV Series

Marvel has hired John Wick’s creator Derek Kolstad to help write the upcoming Falcon & Winter Soldier TV Series which will be on their streaming platform, Disney+.

It looks like Marvel wants to take a leaf out of the John Wick playbook when it comes to their upcoming Disney+ limited series, Falcon & Winter Soldier.

The series will focus on the two heroes after the events of Avengers: Endgame and Anthony Mackie’s Flacon being handed the iconic shield by a much older Captain America.

This means that The Falcon has had a promotion and the series will follow him and The Winter Soldier as they try to figure out what to do in a post-Steve Rodgers world.

It’s now been reported by The Wrap that Marvel Studios has hired Derek Koldstad, the man behind John Wick, to help write the series, so hopefully, they’ll be some seriously good action in the TV series.

The show will premiere on Disney’s upcoming streaming platform, Disney+ and Marvel Studio’s President, Kevin Feige, has revealed that the series will: “Plan to dig deeper into the characters by doing ‘things shockingly and unexpectedly that change those characters in big ways, so the next appearance on the big screen will be informed by what they’ve gone through in Disney+ series.”

Falcon & The Winter Soldier will be directed by Kari Skogland, and it’s going to be a six-part miniseries.
