It’s been revealed that Gal Gadot is going to be starring in an upcoming spy thriller called Heart Of Stone which is being billed as a female 007-like film. This news comes to us via Deadline.
It was also revealed in Deadline’s article that Gal Gadot is going to be getting paid an eight-figure salary for this movie, which means that she is now going to be one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. The film she is set to star in, Heart of Stone, will be an original international spy thriller which will come to us from Skydance Media.
They are very keen to put a “female spin on action franchises like Mission: Impossible and 007″, according to Deadline. Tom Harper, whose other films include The Aeronauts and Wild Rose, is currently in talks to helm the project. As for the script, it’s by Greg Rucka (who wrote The Old Guard – and countless amazing runs on comics) and Allison Schroeder. Schroeder was nominated for her work on Hidden Figures which was a genuinely terrific movie.

Heart Of Gold will be produced by Skydance Media’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. Gadot will also be credited as a producer on the film as are her Pilot Wave producing partners Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. It’s still not clear whether this movie will be released in cinemas or on streaming.
