Director Explains The Importance Of Loki Being Bisexual

Loki-Tom-Hiddleston-Season-1-Disney-Plus-MCU-Marvel

The latest episode of Loki revealed that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is indeed bisexual and the director of the episode revealed why that was important to her.

Kate Herron took to Twitter to explain why acknowledging that Loki is indeed bisexual was so important to her.

Herron has directed every episode of the show so far, and I believe she directed all six episodes.

The moment she’s referring to is a rather sweet conversation the two Lokis had whilst on a train.

In this conversation, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki revealed that he’s had sexual relationships with both men and women.

It had been rumoured before the show was released that it would confirm that Loki is bisexual.

Here’s what Kate Herron had to say about wanting to confirm that Loki likes both men and women:

From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in #mcu.

That moment did end up being pretty huge for the MCU and fans seemed to react positively to the news.
