Here Are The 10 Worst Films Of 2019

This is never an easy list to come up with because it’s not really fair. It’s not fair to rank the ten worst films of the year, however, 2019 had some real stinkers and people have been asking me to come up with my top 10 worst films of the year.

So, I thought long and hard about it and came up with what I believe are the ten worst films of 2019, and trust me, it wasn’t an easy list to come up with.

One of the main reasons why I hate doing this sort of list so much is because so many people worked so hard on these movies, and it’s not always their fault that the final result wasn’t what they wanted it to be.

There can be issues on set. There can be problems with the studios. Often, a movie is bad not because of who’s making it, but because of who’s funding it.

Studio interference very rarely leads to a good final product, and 2019 was evidence of that, none more so than with Hellboy, which ended up being a complete mess of a movie.

However, sometimes, movies are made by people who are completely and utterly misguided. Take 6 Underground for instance, which was directed by Michael Bay and written by Deadpool writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and the combination just really didn’t work.

Again, there are rules on which films can get into this list. In order to make onto this prestigious list, films had to have been released in the UK between January 1st and December 31st.

Anyway, that’s enough chatter and waffle, it’s time to get on to the ten worst films to be released in 2019.

Here are the ten worst films of 2019.

So, there you have it. These were the top ten worst films of 2019 according to Small Screen.

However, there are some honourable mentions which didn’t quite make it to this list. In other words, they were quite bad enough to make it into the top ten worst films for the year, but would have made it into a top 20 list.

The honourable mentions are The Upside, Gemini Man, Rambo: Last Blood and Anna.

There were a bunch of supposedly terrible films I didn’t get around to watching this year.

Some of those films include the likes of Men In Black: International, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Terminator: Dark Fate, Serenity, Cats (I actually really want to see how bad this movie is for myself), The Goldfinch and The Fanatic.

There’s something rather special about watching a genuinely terrible movie, and it sounds like The Fanatic is exactly that, so that’s a movie I will definitely try and watch in 2019.
