WB Is Not Taking The Petitions To Have Amber Heard Fired From Aquaman 2 Seriously

It’s being reported that Warner Bros. Pictures is just not taking the Amber Heard petitions seriously at all, which might annoy a lot of people. When I say the petitions, I’m talking of the petitions to have Amber Heard fired from Aquaman 2.

One of the petitions has now crossed 1.2 million signatures on Change.org, making it one of the most signed petitions on the platform so far. However, the executives at Warner Bros. Pictures think it’s all been inflated and doesn’t reflect what people really think.

This was revealed via Geekosity’s Mikey Sutton’s sources, who are claiming that WarnerMedia is now considering making a Mera solo movie starring Amber Heard. This sounds incredibly strange to me, but let’s see what happens.

Here’s what Mikey Sutton’s sources said about Warner Bros. Pictures not taking the petitions to have Amber Heard removed from Aquaman 2 seriously:

They see it no differently than the boycott of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel film, which proved to be ineffective as it brought in over a billion to Disney. They believe it’s artificially inflated and most likely politically motivated. They don’t base their decisions on web chatter.

I understand where Warner Bros. Pictures might be coming from. However, the fact of the matter is that the petition exists and people are signing it. It’s difficult to get over 1 million fake people to sign an online petition. It’s just not feasible.

Mickey Sutton is correct. Warners knows the amount of signatures is bogus. They just don’t know (for sure) who engineered it, although a certain attorney who was kicked off the American case by the judge is the prime suspect.

Well, strangely enough the lady who set up the petition – who isn’t a certain lawyer – is the one who updates it and is all over twitter. She even went on line and on the petition asking if they wanted to subpoena her for the trial in VA so I guess that makes your anonymous reply as bogus as her false claims of abuse… You have to have an account to sign the petition, I know, I’ve signed it. I’ll also keep sharing it so you bet your life it’s not inflated and it’s real and we’re ready to withhold our cash if they insist on keeping her… There are over 1,400,000+ signatures now and no one goes to the cinema alone, 12 of us go. So, are they really willing to lose that amount of cash to keep a not very good actress in a ridiculous wig.

*** Well, strangely enough the lady who set up the petition – who isn’t a certain lawyer – is the one who updates it and is all over twitter. ***

That’s not strange at all. Third parties can promote any site or petition unbeknown to the site owner. And as The Times of London revealed, cybersecurity firm Bot Sentinel Identified bogus twitter accounts promoting both the petition AND that certain lawyer. The technique is call astroturfing.

*** guess that makes your anonymous reply as bogus as her false claims of abuse ***

So an anonymous replier is complaining about anonymous replies? And, according to a UK court of law, in a suit brought by Depp, he is a wife beater.

*** You have to have an account to sign the petition, I know, I’ve signed it. ***

Yes, each signature has to have an “account” behind it. You can buy Change.org signatures for about $.08 each. Or you can download and install a script on your own computer that does the same thing. Want links? 🙂

Well, strangely enough, a third party can send gobs of traffic to any site or petition whether the site owner or initiator of the petition knows it or not. As the Times of London revealed, a cyber security firm identified bogus signatures to the petition and bots pushing traffic twitter traffic to it.

*** so I guess that makes your anonymous reply as bogus as her false claims of abuse ***

YOUR reply is anonymous. LOL. And a judge in a case that Depp brought himself found Depp to be a wife beater based on all available evidence. Sorry. 🙁

Well, each signature has to have an account behind it. But you can buy Change . o r g signatures for about $.08 each or you can download a script if you’re savvy enough and do it yourself. Ask me for links. 🙂

I’d guess about 70% of the signatures are bots or bot driven and a great portion of them won’t remember signing it when Aquaman II starring Amber Heard hits the screen in 2022.

i disagree. I am not a fan of Johnny Depp and used to like Amber heard & watched all her movies. I still think she is very pretty but I disagreed with what she has been doing and I signed the petition. I am from Asia.

I am against domestic violence no matter what gender. Women can also be abusive. I signed that petition because I can’t stand watching Amber Heard after everything she has done.

Ah yes, Amber is just a sad victim after coming out and saying she hit Johnny, after repeatedly saying that nobody would believe him because he’s a male. Yeah, That poor sad victim who violently attacked someone with a door “accidentally” and hit them afterwards “intentionally.” What a sad victim.

You’re a moron if you call Johny Depo a ‘court proven wife beater’. It was a libel suit which the tabloid got away with because of Johny Depp ‘technically’ having defended himself from some of Amber”# insane literal attacks on his person. He never lost a case against Amber, nor was he ever prosecuted by any court for domestic abuse.

You sir, are a clown and a total failure at life.

I think Warner Bros is getting on my nerves enough at this point as to make me not watch any of their movies anymore, with Amber Heard or not. Other than that… I couldn’t care less if they are taking the petition seriously or not.. not anymore.

  4. Reto

The petition is complete fake. All youneed is an account to sign. There is no way you can verify the persons behind the signatures. It is surely highly inflated by the lawyer we all know, who cheated witnesses into signing testimonies he has written himself. Aquaman 2 will be a blockbuster again, no doubt.

    • Anonymous

Ah, you mean Heard’s lawyers having a witness statement where the person signed their name wrong not once, but twice?

The witness that signed the testimony that Heard secretly recorded – against her knowledge – and completely stands by her statement? She originally claimed she was in Africa at said date, which Depp’s lawyer told her it is a crime to lie and that she’s on video with Heard on said date. She did not want to get involved, but made and signed the statement, looked it over before signing, as is required.

      The petition is very real.

I think they should continue as they are doing. Keep Amber Heard on and ignore our voices. In the end it will be their wallets hurting, not ours. Thanks for the money I get to keep, WB

You little ignorent person, do you really think this is FAKE?
When we see that something unfair is happening, as we have seen in terms of Johnny Depp, then we have to relate to it, and that is exactly what is happening her. In time you will see more and more people signing, because more and more people will read about it. I also hope that at some point you will come to your senses, and look at the EVIDENCE, and see that JD has been treated really unfairly, that it must simpley demand a reaktion from you as well, but if you do not bother to examine the evidence, you will stand as the one who has become a hopeless laugh the day justice prevails! And I’m NOT A BOT, AND I’VE NOT BEEN PAIED!!!

Nice title. Easy to “talk” this article seriously.

I signed, and I am very real and not a bot.

    Yes.listen to the petition.
    These People are not bots.
Believe it or not, majority were not depp fans. Many, and I mean Many, are true victims and they are seeking justice by signing a petition which has given them a voice.
If WB choose to ignore the people’s voice, then they will have to deal with the consequences. This court case and the injustice has created these victims to be fans of depp, due to his bravery even though the world is ripping him apart.

As a woman DV survivor, I signed the very real petition because I am against ALL DV, not just when the stereotypical male wife beater hits his female SO. They want to downplay it like we haven’t heard the recordings of Amber arguing that “she only hit him, not punched him”. She’s a disgusting human being and I will not be watching Aquaman 2 (even though I would love to see Jason Mamoa)

  9. Sam

Web chatter? Political? No Warner bros don’t assume that! We are real people who know that how baised you are in terms of equality. She is clearly a liar and abuser. Well don’t talk about politics sitting up in your high castles! Time will tell and Aquaman will atleast be rejected by people who have moral compass.

  10. Bodil

Just do a little math. Johnny has over 8.5 million supporters plus their families plus all the people who thought Johnny has been treated unfairly, and when we all boycott Aquaman 2 what do you think will happen??? I hear BIG BIG FLOP!!! WB will lose millions and millions of dollars!! They have been warned over and over again, so when it happens then HURRAY FOR THEIR STUPIDITY!! For just keeping a not so good actor!
And the same thing might happend to Fantastic Beast 3! ONCE AGAIN HURRAY STUPIDITY!!!
By the way I’ve also signed, and I’m NOT A BOT either!!!

Have your say...
