The Walking Dead Season 12 Will Be The Last As AMC Cancels The Show
It’s been revealed that The Walking Dead Season 12 will be the show’s last ever season as AMC calls it a day on the popular zombie series.
This new report comes from The Independent, so I am inclined to believe them.
They are a pretty reputable source.
There’s also the fact that 12 seasons is an incredibly long run
It sounds like AMC is looking to end The Walking Dead with Season 12.
This comes after the show’s creator, Robert Kirkman, opted to end the comic books recently.
He is also one of the creators of the show, and his decision to end the comics did cause a lot of people to suspect the show would soon follow.
The Walking Dead will end with Season 12
Speaking about his decision to pull the plug on the comic book source material, creator Robert Kirkman said: “I got to tell my story exactly how I wanted to and end it on my terms, with no interference at all along the way… at any point.”
The Walking Dead has also seen big names like Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira leave the show in the last few years.
It has been feeling like it’s winding down for a while now.
There’s still no word on what will happen with The Walking Dead’s spinoff shows such as Fear The Walking Dead and the upcoming show, The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
