The Flash’s Grant Gustin Reveals He Now Wants To Play A Villain

The Flash’s Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen on The CW’s DC Comics TV show, has revealed that he would love to play a villain.

Grant Gustin’s been brilliant as Barry Allen on The Flash, but it sounds like he wants a change in his career.

He’s played a hero for so long now, and he recently revealed that he wants to switch over the dark side.

During his recent interview with Michael Rosenbaum on his podcast, Inside Of You, Gustin revealed he wants to play a villain.

Both actors know what it’s like to star in DC Comics TV shows.

Rosenbaum played Lex Luthor in Smallville, so he knows what it takes to play an iconic villain.

Here’s what Gustin said about wanting to play a villain next:

At this point, I’d say it’d be fun to play a villain, just because I’ve done so much Barry Allen over the years. I also loved getting the opportunity to play this character that innately has this suaveness, but is just so good and so well-intentioned. He has his downfalls and faults at times, but he really puts other people before himself. And I’ve learned a lot from Barry over the years. I love playing Barry. I don’t know. I definitely want to shake things up outside of Flash and play other kinds of things. But I also like playing a hero.

Seeing Gustin play a villain would be very interesting if you ask me.
