Woody Harrelson Is In Talks To Join Tom Hardy In The Venom Movie

It’s been reported that Woody Harrelson is currently in talks to join Tom Hardy in Ruben Fleischer’s upcoming Venom movie.

Woody Harrelson is getting himself in everything at the moment. He’s already appeared in some big movie franchise. He was Haymitch in The Hunger Games movies and recently played The Colonel in this year’s War For The Planet Of The Apes. He’s just finished filming his scenes in Ron Howard’s Han Solo spin-off movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and now he’s looking to get into the comic book movie game by reportedly joining Tom Hardy in the Venom movie which would see him reunite with his Zombieland director, Ruben Fleischer. Just as a sidenote, Harrelson has kind of already been in the comic book movie game. He starred in Wilson which came in seventh in our 2017 comic book movie rankings.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrelson is currently in talks to join the Venom movie in an undisclosed role. As well as Hardy, who is playing the titular character, the movie already boasts an impressive cast with Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, and Jenny Slate all starring. Harrelson will be yet another big name attached to this project. That said, it does sound a bit late to be casting people in the film since it’s already filming, but I have no idea how these things work.

Harrelson is also receiving praise for his performance in Oscar contender Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri which I cannot wait to see.

As for the Venom movie, it’s the film that’s set to launch Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man spin-off movies. They’re already working on a script for the Morbius film which if all goes to plan will follow Venom.
