Warner Bros. Montreal Rumoured To Be Working On A Superman Video Game

There are rumours making the rounds on the Internet suggesting that Warner Bros. Montreal is already working on a Superman video game.

This news actually has come from Warner Bros. Montreal’s own website.

We already knew that they are working on a Batman game called Gotham Knights.

However, it sounds like they might be already starting work on their next game which could be a Superman video game.

This news comes after several new job listings were posted on Warner Bros Montreal’s website.

They are looking to recruit what they call “talented animators and programmers” to work alongside its current team in order to make a “new IP, AAA title.”

It’s quite a vague description, yet it does seem to be hinting at Warner Bros. Montreal wanting to get work started on their next DC Comics video game.

There have been rumours for years that a Superman video game is in the works.

One of the job listings is for an open gameplay animator position.

Within the job description, they ask for someone who is able to animate “3D character models in a DC universe game, including working with motion capture data” and “hand key frame animations.”

Warner Bros. is very keen on developing more DC Comics-based video games, and the obvious contender for a video game adaptation is Kal-El himself.
