Thor: Ragnarok’s TV Spot Shows How Terrified Loki is of Hulk

There’s a new Thor: Ragnarok TV spot in which Loki reveals how scared he is of the Hulk. Check the TV spot out below.

Remember back to the very first Avengers movie. In that film there was a particularily memorable moment between Hulk and Loki during the final explosive battle. I’m referring to the ‘Puny God’ moment where Hulk threw Loki around like a rag doll. Well, it turns out that in Thor: Ragnarok, Loki hasn’t forgotten about Hulk’s incredible strength and a recent TV spot reveals how scared he is of the big green monster. Check out the TV spot below.

Hulk has always been a bit of a loose cannon. He’s incredibly powerful, and virtually indestructible, yet also very difficult to predict. It almost seems as if the only people in the MCU who have the ability to connect to the giant brute are Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, but for very different reasons of course. Black Widow and Hulk’s connection is romantic in nature, whilst the Hulk’s connection to Thor is in respect of his strength. Thor is the only Avenger who can really handle the Hulk in a one on one fight, unless you count Iron Man in his Hulk buster armour.

Loki does’t have Thor’s strength, and he knows it. Hulk could very easily squash him, and he seems to have a deep dislike for the Asgardian. It’ll be fun to see how things turn out between the two during their big reunion. Will the Hulk welcome him into Thor’s team with open arms, or will there be some sort of standoff between the two? My guess would be with the latter, and the fact that Hulk says, “No team. Only Hulk!” in the TV spot leads me to believe that there might already be some sort of power-struggle going on in that department. Hopefully Bruce Banner can calm things down when he eventually regains control of the beast from within.

Thor: Ragnarok will be in UK cinemas on October 24th, so not long to wait now!
