The Witcher Season 2 Will Introduce New Witchers

It’s been revealed by The Witcher’s showrunner that Season 2 will see Geralt of Rivia come in contact with many more Witchers than he did in Season 1.

I’m pretty excited to see the next season of Netflix’s seemingly biggest hit since Stranger Things, The Witcher.

I must admit that I found the first season to be rather difficult to watch at times.

The dialogue was pretty ropey and the way the story was structured was really confusing.

The timeline kept on switching from the future, the past and the present and it was just all a bit too hard to follow.

Well, The Witcher’s showrunner, Lauren S. Hirissh has been chatting to The Wrap about what’s to come in Season 2.

During this conversation, Hirissh revealed that Season 2 would be less confusion and that the timeline would be linear.

She also revealed that there would be more witchers in The Witcher Season 2.

Here’s what she said on that matter in full:

Probably my favourite additions for Season 2 are the new witchers. Really, in Season 1, we got to know Geralt and he’s our prime example of a witcher. And then there is one other witcher, Remus, who we meet in Episode 103, who quickly dies (laughs). So it was, for us really, about getting Geralt back to his roots and sort of learning where he came from and what his story is and what his sense of family is.

I like the sound of there being more Witchers in The Witcher Season 2!
