The Witcher Season 2: Michael Keaton And Mads Mikkelsen Reportedly Offered Roles

It’s being reported that Netflix offered roles to Mads Mikkelsen and Michael Keaton in The Witcher Season 2.

However, the report claims they both turned down Netflix.

This comes from Daniel Richtman on Twitter who wrote the following:

Fun Fact: The role of Vesemir was offered to Michael Keaton and Mads Mikkelsen. Both passed

Star Wars’ Mark Hamill might be up for the role of Vesemir.

He’s been campaigning pretty hard for the role and The Witcher fans seem to think he’d be an excellent choice for the role.

However, nothing is officially confirmed yet by either Hamill’s people or Netflix.

However, Hamill did talk about the casting rumours during an interview with IGN.

“I have no idea what this is or what it’s about but agree it could/should be played by me,” he told the outlet.

He then added on Twitter: “I still have no idea what this is or what it’s about, but I DO know they haven’t ever asked me to play Vesemir… yet.”

It sounds like he thinks he’d make an excellent Vesemir, and I’m going to have to agree with him.

I think he’d be great for the role.

However, I would have liked to have seen Mikkelsen or Keaton play the role.

They’re all good choices, to be honest, and any of them would do a great job as Vesemir.

Would you have liked to have seen Mads Mikkelsen or Michael Keaton in The Witcher Season 2?
