The Witcher Season 2 Adds Game Of Thrones’ Kristofer Hivju To The Cast

The Witcher Season 2 is going to feature some pretty big names in the cast and one of those names is Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju.

He played Tormund Giantsbane in the HBO show and honestly, I think he’s perfect for The Witcher.

I’m sure he’ll blend into The Witcher’s world perfectly!

This casting news comes courtesy of Redanian Intelligence, who reported that Hivju will play a character named Nivellen.

The character appeared in Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story called A Grain of Truth.

This casting news was leaked via a cast sheet.

It describes the character as a being a: “Charismatic, witty and funny man”.

It continues: “He’s from an aristocratic family and has been cursed for the crimes he has committed in the past. The role is described as physically demanding with a requirement for a great emotional range.”

In the short story, Nivellen is a cursed man who has beastly powers and lives in a rather remote manor.

The character might only appear at the very beginning of Season 2.

Paul Bullion will also be in The Witcher Season 2.

He’ll be playing Lambert, and another new addition to the cast is Yasen Atour who will portray Coen.

Thes new additions to The Witcher Season 2’s cast will join the likes of Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri.
