How Will The Umbrella Academy Season 2 End?
The Umbrella Academy season 2 is coming and there are a lot of people out there who are wondering exactly what’s going to happen in this upcoming season.
One of the big problems in trying to figure out the plot and the ending of this next season is that they took so much from so many different bits of the comics in the first season.
They just did a pick n’ mix of story beats from multiple volumes of the comics and made the first season.
Anyway, one of the things they could include in The Umbrella Academy season 2, which would be an interesting ending, is the Eifell Tower attacks sequence from the comics.
What will The Umbrella Academy season 2’s ending be?
This is an important sequence in the comics and would be incredibly cool to see brought to the big screen, however, it would be quite costly, and I haven’t heard any reports of them filming in Paris, so it perhaps won’t happen.
Yet, one thing that I’m pretty sure will happen, and could result in an interesting ending for season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, is the JKF assassination.
This assassination was already mentioned in the first season and it ends up becoming and an important part of volume two of the comics.
The Umbrella Academy ends up being divided into two factions: team kill the President and team save the President.
Will they try to kill JFK in The Umbrella Academy season 2?
In the comics, Allison ends up taking him out in order for the Commission to repair her vocal cords.
This could easily be the ending of The Umbrella Academy season 2 and it would be a shocking cliffhanger on which to leave viewers of the Netflix TV show.
Having the team be completely broken up by the end of the season would also leave space for them to find each other again in season 3, but it would be a bit of a bummer to end on.
There have also been some rumours that The Umbrella Academy’s mother might play a part in the second season.

In the comics, it’s revealed that Luther and Number 5 are twin brothers and this, along with the mother’s participation could end up playing a part towards the end of season 2.
However, the thing that I’d really love to see in season 2 is the Hotel Oblivion.
What is the Hotel Oblivion, you ask? It’s a negative zone prison, in which Sir Reginald Hargreeves locked up some of the world’s most dangerous supervillains.
This particular storyline is still going on in the comics as far as I’m aware, and it would be an excellent addition to the Netflix TV show.
The villains are guarded by faceless bellhops, and I’d just love to see that in live-action.
Will Hotel Oblivion have a part to play?
It’s a pretty cool storyline in the comics and would be an interesting way for the show to go in season 2.
Another thing they could explore what happened to the other 36 children who were also born on the same day as the rest of The Umbrella Academy.
This could be an interesting way to bring in new characters and expand and develop the show even further.
Meanwhile, I’m pretty certain that The White Violin (a.k.a. Vanya Hargreeves) will end up having hearing loss in her ear after Allison shot the gun next to it at the end of season 1.
This could end up being a very interesting development for the character and dull her powers somewhat.
What’s going to happen to The White Violin?
She’s already a very powerful character and could end up causing the end of the world if the rest of The Umbrella Academy don’t keep her in check and figure out how to stop the world from being destroyed by her blowing up the moon.
What will actually happen to Vanya in season 2 is still a bit of a mystery. It remains to be seen whether her Umbrella Academy colleagues will rally around her and help her, or whether they’ll turn against her.
In the comics, she gets shot in the back of the shot, causing her to have brain damage. I’m thinking that something similar will happen in the second series, or that her powers will be greatly weakened due to her hearing loss.
Some of the gang might agree that she’s too powerful to be left in the real world and might send her to the Hotel Oblivion if they decide to include it in the series.
These are just a few ideas I had for how season 2 of The Umbrella Academy could end. What do you think the ending is going to be? Let us know in the comments below.
