The Matrix 4 Adds Neil Patrick Harris To Its Ensemble Cast

Neil Patrick Harris is joining The Matrix 4, which is easily the strangest news I’ve had to write in a long long time, but I’m also pretty excited about it.

This news came courtesy of Variety, who reported that he’s the latest addition to the ensemble cast for the upcoming fourth instalment of the Matrix franchise.

There’s no news on who Neil Patrick Harris will be playing in the movie, but I really do like the idea of seeing him in a Matrix movie.

Harris has already shown that he’s a very talented dramatic actor in such movies as Gone Girl, so I’m not worried at all about having him be in a more serious role.

Neil Patrick Harris will be an excellent addition to The Matrix franchise

This will be the fourth movie of the Matrix franchise, and it will see the likes of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity.

It was also recently revealed that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman and The Greatest Showman), and we still don’t know who he’ll be playing in the movie.

Ther have been rumours that he will be playing young Morpheus in the movie, a role originally played by Laurence Fishburn in the first three movies.

I can’t quite see how they’ll be able to have an old Neo and Trinity up against a young Morpheus, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

There could be time travel involved in the movie, which I wouldn’t be against.

Lana Wachowski is also coming back to the franchise as writer and director.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures will produce and globally distribute the film.

Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell co-wrote the script with Wachowski, who will also produce with Grant Hill.

The film is expected to begin production sometime at the beginning of 2020, which is pretty soon.

All of this sounds very exciting. Are you excited for a fourth Matrix movie?
