The Flash Season 9 Officially Renewed By The CW

It’s been revealed that The Flash has been renewed for Season 9 over at The CW, which is very good news for fans of the show.

The series has been going since 2014 on The CW and has been one of the network’s most popular shows.

However, The Flash isn’t the only show on The CW that has been renewed for another season.

It was also revealed that All American, Kung Fu, Nancy Drew, Riverdale, Superman & Lois, and Walker have all been renewed for new seasons for 2022 and 2023.

This means that we’re going to be treated to Season 7 of Riverdale, Season 5 of All American, Season 4 of Nancy Drew, and Season 3 of Kung Fu, Walker, and Superman & Lois.

This all comes after it was revealed that Grant Gustin had signed on for another season of the show.

We then reached out to Grant Gustin’s manager, Robert Stein, and he confirmed that Deadline’s report was indeed correct.

Here’s what he had to tell us about Gustin’s contract negotiation talks with The CW for The Flash Season 9:

Yes, I can confirm we are in a current conversation with the studio on Grant returning to The Flash for a Season 9.

He then added:

Conversations are continuing in a positive way; but nothing conclusive yet.

Could The Flash keep on going after Season 9?

“As we prepare for the 2022-23 season, these scripted series, along with the alternative series we renewed earlier, will serve as the start of a solid foundation utilizing some of our most-watched series for us to build on for next year and beyond,” Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO of The CW Network said in a statement.

“These dramas are also important to our overall digital strategy, as they are some of our most-streamed and socially-engaged programming, and we look forward to adding more new and returning series to help strengthen and expand our multiplatform footprint.”
