The Batman’s Matt Reeves Reportedly Looking At Oscar Isaac To Play Two-Face

I seem to say this again and again about these sorts of casting rumours, but please, do not take this as Gospel, however, there are rumblings around the Web that Oscar Isaac is in contention to play Harvey Dent (a.k.a. Two-Face) in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

A few weeks ago, we reported that there was another actor in the mix to play Two-Face in The Batman, and that was Matthew McConaughey, and he’d be brilliant.

However, it does look like at the moment that Matt Reeves is casting a little bit younger for his upcoming Batman flick, and I believe that Isaac would suit the role and the movie slightly better than McConaughey.

This news does come from We Got This Covered, who have a tendency of throwing these casting rumours out there.

That said, I do believe that Matt Reeves and Isaac have met about this role, and it hasn’t been cast officially yet, so it’s not a stretch to believe that the Star Wars actor is one of the people being considered for the role.

Personally, I think Isaac is a fantastic actor and would work really well along the likes of Zoe Kravitz (as Catwoman), Paul Dano (as The Riddler), Jeffrey Wright (as Commissioner Gordon), Andy Serkis (as Alfred) and, of course, Robert Pattinson (as Batman, a.k.a. Bruce Wayne).

Isaac is no stranger to doing big blockbuster movies after having starred as Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the final in the trilogy, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

He’s also shown how talented an actor he is in the likes of Ex Machina, Drive, A Most Violent Year and Inside Llewyn Davis.

I think he’d be great casting, but we’re going to have to wait and see whether it comes to fruition.
